Strong Hitch Rack Sales in Q2 and Q3 Result in 12% Increase in Revenue Year to Year
GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO – RockyMounts, in cooperation with The Grand Junction Economic Partnership, are pleased to announce that the bike rack manufacturer has officially relocated to Grand Junction, Colorado. On Friday, November 15th, the company broke ground on its new headquarters in the Riverfront at Las Colonias Park, a new business and recreational development on the banks of the Colorado River. The relocation of RockyMounts to the Grand Junction business community represents a move that further bolsters the area as a destination for the outdoor industry, which already includes companies such as DT Swiss, MRP and many others.
“In Grand Junction, we have the opportunity to be a part of a growing and vibrant community, build the headquarters I had always dreamed of, and to contribute to the improved quality of life for myself, my employees, and the likeminded souls that call the Western Slope home.” said Bobby Noyes, Owner of RockyMounts. “Putting a shovel in the ground today represents the culmination of a lot of hard work and dedication on behalf of my staff, and I can’t thank them enough for believing in this move.”
RockyMounts is the first company to break ground in Riverfront at Las Colonias Park, a 140-acre mixed-use development along the Colorado River in downtown Grand Junction. Once complete next year, the $30 million development will include a 15-acre business park, a 5,000-seat amphitheater, a river park with two standing waves, a boat ramp, multiple ponds and a zipline across the Colorado River.
Riverfront at Las Colonias Park is a unique collaboration between multiple economic development partners and the community in Grand Junction. The development is spearheaded by the City of Grand Junction, GJEP and Bonsai Design, a local business that designs and implements adventure courses across the country. Bonsai Design is expected to break ground in the business park in Spring 2020 and several other businesses are currently working with GJEP to follow suit.
Additionally, RockyMounts is reporting a 12% increase in revenue (year to year) as a result of strong Q2 and Q3 sales of the brand’s hitch racks that includes the adaptable swing-away BackStage and the new for 2019 WestSlope 2 and WestSlope 3.
